AVC Nations Cup 2025: Indonesia Meets Pakistan In Quarter Finals
JAKARTA The National Team (Timnas) of the Indonesian Men's Volleyball met Pakistan in the quarter-finals after occupying the runner-up position of Group A AVC Nations Cup 2025.
Indonesia got the runner-up position after losing to host Bahrain with a score of 0-3 (13-25, 25-27, and 22-25) in the last match of the Group A preliminary round, Thursday, June 19, 2025, night WIB.
These results automatically make Indonesia face Pakistan, which is the winner in Group C. The clash between the two countries is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 21, 2025.
On the other hand, the victory over Indonesia made Bahrain come out as the leader of Group A. They will next challenge China Taipei as runners-up in Group C.

The match to determine the winner of Group A between Indonesia vs Bahrain was held at Isa Bin Rashed Hall, Manama, Bahrain. Indonesia failed to repeat its impressive performance as when it defeated Thailand.
"Children are not focused and the first ball is our main obstacle today," said assistant coach of the Indonesian Men's Volleyball, Erwin Rusni, after the match as received in the statement.
In the first set, Indonesia had the lead over the host. However, Bahrain immediately turned things around and created a difference of points of up to 10 points and won convincingly.
Indonesia's game increased in the second set and was 25-24 ahead. However, they failed to maximize their chances so that Bahrain won three consecutive points and closed the second set with a score of 27-25.
A tight duel also took place in the third set. Indonesia struggled to extend the match, but Bahrain continued to appear consistent and forced Indonesia to swallow the bitter pill.
