BI Deputy Governor Filianingsih Did Not Attend The KPK Call, BI: Due To The Official Agenda
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned the Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia (BI) Filianingsih Hendarta, on Thursday, June 19, to be questioned as a witness in the alleged misuse of Bank Indonesia's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds.
Responding to this, Head of the Communication Department of Bank Indonesia Ramdan Denny Prakoso said that Bank Indonesia respects the ongoing legal process and is fully committed to supporting law enforcement efforts carried out by the KPK.
Regarding the summons of the Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia (BI) Filianingsih Hendarta as a witness, Ramdan explained that the person concerned had not been able to fulfill the summons because of the official agenda that had been scheduled previously and could not be canceled.
"We have conveyed this through a letter to the KPK. We ask you to understand and will continue to coordinate with related parties so that this process runs well," he said in his statement, quoted on Friday, June 20.
Previously, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said that three witnesses in the corruption case of social responsibility funds or Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of Bank Indonesia (BI) did not fulfill the investigator's summons today, June 19.
KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said the three witnesses should have complied with the investigators' summons at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta. However, they were not present because they were not in Indonesia.

"The three witnesses were unable to attend because there were activities abroad," Budi told reporters at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday, June 19.
The three witnesses who should be examined are Fillianingsih Hendarta as Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia; Dicky Awal Mucharam as Member of the DPR-RI Commission XI; and Dolfie Othniel Frederic Palit who is the Chair of the Working Plan Expenditure Committee and the Financial Services Authority (OJK) budget.
Budi said that later these witnesses would be rescheduled. "Because their statements of course require investigators to complete the statements that have been presented by the previous witnesses, including several search activities carried out by investigators in this case," he said without specifying the exact time.
