HONOR Magic V5 Claimed To Be The Thinest Folding Smartphone In The World

JAKARTA - HONOR has announced that its newest foldable smartphone, Magic V5, will beat the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 in terms of thinness. The company even calls Magic V5 the thinst foldable smartphone in the world.

Currently, OPPO Find N5 holds a record of only 8.93 mm thickness, but HONOR appears ready to win the title. The launch of Magic V5 is scheduled to take place on July 2 in China, just days before the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event which is expected to be held on July 9, where the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 will be introduced.

The thickness is estimated to be below 9mm, thinner than Magic V3 (9.3mm)

HONOR has publicly stated that Magic V5 is designed to be a direct alternative to the Galaxy Z Fold 7, offering a maximum innovative design, high performance, and portability.

However, unfortunately HONOR has not officially sold its devices in the US or Indonesia, so users in the United States who want to have them most likely have to buy through third-party distributors.
