Spotify Lossless Audio Details Revealed, Here's The Leak

JAKARTA The lossless audio level disclosed more than four years ago by Spotify has not been released until now. Although it seems that there are many problems during development, this level will still be present.

In fact, the latest news shows that the lossless audio level will be launched in the near future. This was revealed after the Spotify application code was leaked by a Technologist and Reserve Engineer Chris Messina on Wednesday, June 18.

Reporting from TechCrunch, Messina found a number of code references for lossless features. This reference can be seen in the Spotify app for the desktop version. Messina also explained that the feature is still in the development stage.

Although not clearly visible, there are some code pieces that indirectly notify users of what will the lossless level offer. There are also codes that lead to how to use and solve service problems.

For example, there is an aid card that says 'Music lossless now in the premium version'. There is also another card that mentions lossless levels as a service with the 'best sound quality on Spotify for music up to 24-bit/44.1kHz'.

Spotify also seems to add an aid card regarding the shortcomings of lossless usage. For example, there are songs that are not available in this lossless or layyangan format that won't work if the device has poor connectivity.

In addition, there is another note that music in lossless format is 'best enjoyed on devices compatible with Spotify Connect'. Thus, the sound will work optimally.

From this row of code pieces, it cannot be concluded when the audio level will arrive. There is a possibility that the lossless audio level will not be present this year because various leaks about lossless have been around for a long time, but the feature has never been available.
