Regional Police (Polda) of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) named a woman with the initials N as a new suspect in the death of Brigadier Muhammad Nurhadi at an inn in Gili Trawangan, North Lombok Regency, NTB.

"The suspects are three women, the initials M," said Director of General Criminal Investigation of the NTB Regional Police, Senior Commissioner of Syarif Hidayat Police in Mataram, Thursday, June 19, confiscated by Antara.

However, the NTB Police did not explain further the role of suspect M in the death of Brigadier Nurhadi.

In this case, previously the NTB Police had named two officers with the initials Kompol Y and Ipda HC as suspects.

The two officers are suspected of violating Article 351 of the Criminal Code regarding persecution and Article 359 of the Criminal Code regarding negligence.

One of the pieces of evidence that strengthens the members of the National Police as suspects is the results of the exhumation of the grave of Brigadier Nurhadi who found signs of violence as the cause of the death of the victim.

Prior to his suspect status, the NTB Police through the Police Code of Ethics Commission trial which was held in the NTB Police Propam Division courtroom on Tuesday 27 May had decided on sanctions for dishonorable dismissal (PTDH) or dismissal of the two officers.

The ethics panel stated that the two officers violated the cumulative article, namely Article 11 paragraph (2) letter b and Article 13 letter e and f of Police Regulation Number 7 of 2022 concerning the Police Professional Code of Ethics and Article 13 paragraph (1) PP Number 1 of 2003 concerning the Dismissal of Police Members.
