Hyundai Promises New Car Release At GIIAS 2025, Stargazer Update?

JAKARTA - One of the largest automotive exhibitions in Indonesia, the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) will be held next month from July 24 to August 3 at ICE BSD, Tangerang.

This event will be a forum for single-agent brand holders (ATPM) in selling or showing off their newest car. One of the participants participating in the event was Hyundai.

This well-known automotive manufacturer from South Korea will also present a variety of existing models such as Creta, Venue, Santa Fe, airing, Staria, Ioniq 5, Ioniq 6, Ioniq 5 N, and many more. In addition, Hyundai will also launch one new line on GIIAS coming.

PT HMID's Head of Public Relations, Juli Simanjuntak, said that this latest car is a product that will be suitable for the needs of the Indonesian market.

"As our President Director said some time ago, soon we will present 'The Real Indonesian Car' which we will bring and we will introduce officially," said Howl in his presentation at a press conference ahead of GIIAS 2025, Kuningan, Jakarta, Wednesday, June 18.

Although the company is still silent about this, it is almost certain that the car is a Stargazer model update.

Moreover, the latest Stargazer has entered the DKI Samsat page on the Motor Vehicle Selling Value (NJKB) code 'STRGZRCARTEN' consisting of several variants, namely L, GL, Prime, Style, and Trend.

In the list, the MPV has a selling value ranging from Rp. 182 million to Rp. 232 million. However, keep in mind that this price does not include all sales taxes such as BBNKB, PPh, VAT, and others.

Thus, the official banderol to be announced can be different from those registered in NJKB.

HMID has been selling Stargazer since 2022 as an MPV with friendly prices for Indonesian consumers. Offered in the Active, Essential, Essential Tech, and Prime variants, the model now has a selling price ranging from IDR 258.2 million to the most expensive IDR 331.9 million.
