Police Are Looking For A White Calya Driver Who Broke Through The Depok Toll Carriage

JAKARTA - The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya will take action against drivers who break through the Toli gate in the Depok area which allegedly occurred on Monday (16/6).

"We deeply regret this incident because apart from violating traffic signs, this behavior also endangers other road users and we will take action," said Deputy Director of Traffic of Polda Metro Jaya AKBP Argo Wiyono as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, June 19.

Argo also said that his party would investigate the owner of the vehicle that committed the violation.

Previously, a video of a video uploaded by the Instagram account @otohubdotco showed a minibus breaking through two toll gates, namely GT Cisalak 1 and GT Cimanggis.

"White Toyota Calya with number B 2829 UIL went viral after being caught on a dashboard (dashcam) camera not paying the toll road," the account wrote.

Based on Article 287 paragraph (1) of Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation, the driver has the potential to be subject to a maximum imprisonment of two months or a maximum fine of IDR 500,000.
