BDx Collaborates With PLN, Supply 30 MVA Electricity For Its Data Center
JAKARTA - BDx Indonesia, a subsidiary of the BDx Data Centers (BDx), has signed a sale and purchase contract for electricity with PT PLN (Persero), Indonesian SOEs that provide electricity, for the procurement of 30 MVA of electricity.
This partnership specifically supports the CGK3A campus which will soon be built in South Jakarta, and the CGK4 AI Campus in Jatiluhur which was previously announced by BDx Indonesia. CGK4 AI Campus with a capacity of 500 MW with renewable energy sources.
According to the President Director of BDx Indonesia, Agus Hartono Wijaya, the reliable electricity supply from PLN is an important basis for the development of AI and digital innovation throughout Indonesia.
"With PLN's support, BDx Indonesia's business development is becoming smarter, environmentally friendly, and faster in order to meet the surge in AI needs, sustainable development, and digital sovereignty," Agus said in a statement Thursday, June 19.
The CGK4 500 MW AI Data Center in Jatiluhur is one of the first data centers in Indonesia to obtain an NVIDIA DGX-Ready certificate. Where this facility uses renewable energy, and presents large-scale and high-performance AI infrastructure.
