Starting May 31, 2025, Pinjol Organizers Must Be A SLIK Reporter
JAKARTA - The Financial Services Authority (OJK) has stipulated that online loan providers (pindar) must be the reporters of the Financial Information Service System (SLIK) starting July 31, 2025, as stipulated in OJK Regulation (POJK) Number 11 of 2024.
"This SLIK information can be one of the input ingredients to assess the feasibility of prospective debtors who will get credit/financing facilities by Indonesian financial services institutions," said Acting Head of the Department of Literacy, Financial Inclusion, and OJK Communications M Ismail Riyadi quoting Antara.
With these strengthening steps, Ismail said that the pindar industry is expected to take place more healthy, transparent, and accountable and helping the community's needs, including for productive financing.
In the event that violations of applicable regulations are found, the OJK will take compliance enforcement steps in accordance with applicable regulations.
OJK also asks the information technology-based mutual funding industry (LPBBTI) to strengthen the implementation of risk management by tightening the principles of profit capacity and electronic knowledge of your customer (e-KYC) as the basis for providing funding.
The strengthening of risk management is expected to strengthen risk mitigation of funders (lenders) in the medium platform and mitigate the increasing number of recipients of funds (barrowers) who do not make payments or fail to pay.
"This affirmation is in line with the provisions in SEOJK Number 19/SEOJK.06/2023 concerning the Implementation of Information Technology-Based Joint Funding Services," said Ismail.
Through these provisions, lender organizers are required to conduct a funding feasibility assessment (credit scoring) and the suitability between the amount of loans submitted with the financial capacity of the borrower.

Selain itu, penyelenggara pindar dilarang memfasilitasi pendanaan kepada borower yang telah menerima pembiayaan dari tiga penyelenggara pindar, termasuk dari penyelenggara itu sendiri.
OJK appealed to the public to be wiser in utilizing funding facilities from lender providers, including not to take steps to deliberately not pay debts to the lender.
"In addition, the public is expected to consider aspects of the need and ability to pay carefully so as not to be trapped in illegal online loans and the practice of digging holes to cover holes," Ismail concluded.
