IDF Will Not End Attacks Until All Iranian Nuclear And Missile Facilities Are Destroyed
JAKARTA - Israeli Operation Defense Forces (IDF) will not end the attacks until all Iranian nuclear and missile facilities are destroyed, military officials say but do not give a deadline.
"We continue to strike nuclear targets to deepen achievements, in accordance with plans and at appropriate times for us," Chief Directorate of IDF Operations Major General Oded Basiuk said in a phone call with reporters.
The IDF says they are in the middle of an operation, not at the end. The end goal is to destroy the "existent threat" of Iran's nuclear program and its missile lineup, he said.
"We attack the terror regime, not the people, who deserve a better future. Those who endanger us are the leaders in Tehran, not the people walking on the streets of Shiraz," explained Major General Basiuk.
The military said it would continue to attack nuclear facilities and related targets, including nuclear scientists, as well as ballistic missiles, air defenses, military command centers, and other targets deemed "critical" to the Iranian regime.
So far, more than 200 ballistic missile launchers have been destroyed or neutralized by Israeli attacks, which are an important part of Iran's weapons, according to the military.
The attack on the launcher has disrupted Iran's efforts to fire more missiles at Israel, but the IDF assesses Iran still has the ability to launch attacks and cause devastating damage in Israel.
"We will remain ready in the defense. I think that Iran will continue to try to hurt Israel," said Major General Basiuk.
Regarding Iran's nuclear program, the IDF said it had so far caused significant damage to Tehran's ability to acquire bombs, but the effort is not over yet.
The Israeli military said it would detail the type of damage it had done to Iran's nuclear program after the operation was completed.
Major General Basiuk said the IDF "will not allow Iran, which has nuclear weapons, to turn the Middle East into a grave."

As previously reported, Israel launched airstrikes in the "Raising Lion" operation targeting Iranian nuclear and military facilities on Friday morning. The attack was retaliated by Iran, which launched retaliation against a number of targets in Israel.
Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed the attack, saying Iran had enough enriched uranium to make several bombs and a few days, so it needed to act against "threats that would soon occur".
Tehran itself says it has the right to peaceful nuclear power, but its rapidly growing uranium enrichment program has raised concerns in the West and across the Gulf, the country wants to develop nuclear weapons.
