Redmi K80 Ultra Comes With Advanced Monster Battery And Audio To Support Gaming Performance

Redmi continues to tease her fans with a leak of her latest flagship specifications, Redmi K80 Ultra. After previously showing off the design and chipsets used, the company is now leaking more details regarding the battery, charging, audio, and haptic system of this device.

In the latest teaser shared via Weibo, Redmi revealed that the K80 Ultra will be equipped with a giant battery with a capacity of 7410mAh. Based on internal testing with the "Days of Use" (DOU) metric, this device is able to last up to 2.26 days in one charge. In addition, Redmi claims to have made adjustments to the level of microarchitecture to reduce power consumption during long-term use.

One of the other flagship features is the Bypass Charging Plus system, which allows power to be channeled directly to motherboards and batteries separately. This technology aims to reduce excess heat while playing games, providing more convenience for gamers. Redmi K80 Ultra is also the first Redmi device to support 100W fast charging.

In terms of haptics, this device is equipped with the latest CyberEngine bike with ultra-wideband feedback and nearly 100 special vibration patterns. Xiaomi claims that it is the most powerful and most precise haptic system ever on Android phones, thanks to the use of closed-loop driver chips that maintain the consistency of touch responses.

In terms of audio, K80 Ultra uses the Master-Class Coaxial Symmetrical Dual Speakers'' system. Each speaker combines a tweeter and woofer unit in one coaxial structure, supported by high-quality materials such as aerospace-based domes and superfine diaphragms. These configurations are designed to deliver a wide frequency range of up to 20kHz, with an average 16dB increase in the 8k'20kHz noise range.

As previously confirmed, K80 Ultra is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ flagship chipset and the Xiaomi-made discrete GPU itself, D2. This device scored more than 3.24 million points on AnTuTu V10. K80 Ultra also carries the largest 3D IceLoop vapor chamber cooling system from Redmi and uses Fury Engine 4.0 to optimize its performance even deeper.

Not only mobile phones, Xiaomi is also preparing to launch Redmi K Pad simultaneously with K80 Ultra in China later this month. The tablet comes with an 8.8-inch 3K resolution LCD screen and a 165Hz refresh rate, powered by Dimensity 9400+, supports RAM up to 16GB, and runs Android 15. With a minimalist design and 67W fast charging support, the tablet is aimed at competing with the iPad Mini 7, Red Magic Gaming Tablet 3 Pro, and Lenovo Legion Y700 (Gen 4).
