If Udinese Successfully Referrs To Jay Idzes, The Transfer Record Of IDR 469 Billion Will Be Broken
JAKARTA - Jay Idzes is reportedly included in the serious target of the Italian club, Udinese, who did not hesitate to spend large funds.
If Friulani's efforts are successful in attracting the centre-back, the funds prepared of 25 million euros or equivalent to Rp469 billion will break the transfer record.
Quoted from Massagero Veneto, Udinese intends to bring Idzes from Venezia to fill the team's defense heart post. You see, that position will be left by Jaka Bjol who moved to another club in this summer's transfer market.
"The fee of 25 million euros is needed to recruit the 25-year-old defender from Venezia," wrote Messagero Veneto, quoted on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.
However, Udinese's efforts to bring in Jay Idzes certainly did not go smoothly because they had to compete with other Serie A clubs.

"The latest news is competition with two clubs competing in Europe, namely Bologna and Fiorentina, to persuade Jay Idzes whose contract expires in 2027."
"Obviously Venezia and the Indonesian National Team are the main options to replace Jaka Bijol who are being approached by AC Milan and Leeds United," continued Messagero Veneto.
If the plan to bring in Idzes is successful with the specified value, Udinese will solve their transfer value.
The reason is, so far the most expensive player who has ever been brought to Udinese is Rolando Mandragora from Juventus with a transfer value of 20 million euros in 2018.
On the other hand, Udinese can take advantage of the current Idzes situation at his club to launch the transfer process. This is because there is a chance that Venezia mentioned that Idzes could have left the team if they were relegated.
Currently Venezia is confirmed to be relegated to Serie B 2025/2026. This allows smooth roads for Idzes to move to other clubs.
"The player from Indonesia has a contract clause that makes it easier to transfer if his club is relegated, exactly what is happening today," the report wrote.
