SMPB Jakarta Error Site, Disdik DKI Suggests This

JAKARTA - Registration for the New Student Admission System (SPMB) for the 2025/2026 school year in DKI Jakarta has only started since Monday, June 16. It's just that there are many complaints from the public about the difficulty of accessing the registration site.

Secretary of the DKI Jakarta Education Office, Taga Radja Gah, admitted that this happened because of the high traffic access to the DKI Jakarta SPMB registration site at the same time.

"The spike in traffic at the same time may cause temporary access disruptions, and we understand the inconvenience", Taga told reporters, Tuesday, June 17.

"Our technical team is working optimally to ensure service stability and system speed so that registration can continue smoothly," he added.

Therefore, Taga suggested that parents and prospective new students who are still having problems accessing the spmb.jakarta.go.id site should refresh regularly.

In addition, registrants are also advised to avoid peak hours to access the site, which is around 08.00 WIB to 10.00 WIB.

"Make sure the internet connection is stable when accessing our services. We continue to strive to provide the best service for all new prospective students," said Taga.

As of Tuesday, June 17, the DKI Jakarta Education Office noted that the SPMB had received more than 260,000 registrations from elementary, junior high, high school, and vocational levels. The details are 69,658 at the elementary school level, 22,078 junior high schools, 11,035 high schools, and 14,884 vocational schools.

"The total received was 117,655 registrants," he said.
