Dozens Of Cars Related To The Bank BJB Case Immediately Shifted By KPK To Rupbasan, Mercedes-Benz Ridwan Kamil's 'Pagoda' Included?

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is reportedly bringing 20 confiscated cars related to allegations of corruption in the placement of advertisements for PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat and Banten, Tbk or Bank BJB (BJBR) for the period 2021-2023 to the Confiscated Property Storage House (Rupbasan).

A VOI source said dozens of these cars would first be shifted to the Rupbasan Class 1 Bandung Office, West Java and taken to the KPK Rupbasan, Cawang, East Jakarta afterwards. However, the exact time has not been specified.

"(Around, red) the 20 cars that we have (used, red) want to be moved to Rupbasan first," said the source, Monday night, June 16.

Meanwhile, when confirmed, KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo did not answer for sure about the information. He only explained that the confiscation of evidence in the case was certain.

"Regarding related assets or the results of allegations or criminal acts of corruption, investigators will certainly confiscate them, either as evidence that supports the evidence of the case or later as the first step for the KPK in asset recovery," Budi told reporters quoted on Tuesday, June 17.

"Later we will update if there are assets that are then confiscated in the case," he continued.

As for this case, the anti-corruption commission has confiscated a number of vehicles from the search process which was carried out in early March. Among them are the Royal Enfield and Mercedes Benz 280 SL or Mercedes Benz Pagoda from the former Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil.
