Gerindra Suggests Pramono Use The DKI Youth's Karang Taruna Budget To Send Brawl Youth To The Military Barrels
The Gerindra Party faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD proposed the Governor of DKI Jakarta to use the youth development budget that is usually allocated for youth coral programs to be used to send troubled youths to military barracks to be fostered.
The proposal was expressed by a member of the Gerindra faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Ryan Kurnia Ar Rahman, in the general view of the faction of the Draft Regional Regulation on Accountability for the Implementation of the 2024 APBD.
"Cooperation with military barracks for fostering young people needs to be considered, of course, after training, it needs to be supported by the budget so that they can carry out positive activities," Ryan said, quoted on Tuesday, June 17.
A similar activity has been carried out by the Governor of West Java, Dedi Mulyadi, who is also a politician from the Gerindra Party. The policy of fostering troubled youths in the military barracks initiated by Dedi Mulyadi has so far caused pros and cons.
However, Gerindra assessed that military development could be more effective in fostering youth than existing activities.
"The budget for youth coaching, youth organizations, according to the Gerindra Party faction, is too small to have an impact on DKI Jakarta youth preferring to be busy fighting to take lives rather than positive activities due to lack of budget support," said Ryan.

A similar proposal was made by the Secretary of the PKS Faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD M. Taufik Zoelkifli. Taufik asked Pramono to follow Dedi Mulyadi's steps in dealing with these naughty and problematic students.
"I totally agree and very supportive if naughty students are given training which is indeed channeling their physical energy in a positive direction," Taufik told reporters, some time ago.
According to Taufik, these young students still have a lot of energy to distribute. It's better if the problematic students are trained to fill positive semi-military activities.
"Well, one of them, if you take part in military training, maybe not the full military, yes, but the semi-military. If the military is full, of course, he must have a career later to ABRI and so on. Yes, Jakarta is good," said Taufik.
