BABYMONSTER Concert Review In Jakarta: Monster Rookie Who Is Not Afraid To Appear With Live Band
JAKARTA - A big celebration for K-pop lovers in Indonesia is presented by YG Entertainment through a performance titled 2025 BABYMONSTER 1ST WORLD TOUR
The concert, which is driven by Live Nation, TEM Presents, and PK Entertainment, features BABYMONSTER according to its name baby which shows the charm and innocence as well as 'monsters' who show a fierce and strong appearance on stage.
Ruka, Harita, Asa, Ahyeon, Rora, and Chiquita without Rami who are absent due to health problems started their appearance by performing the lead single from their debut album, DRIP.
Followed by BATTER UP, CLICK, LIKE THAT, and SHEEZ, the group, which officially debuted in April 2024, showed excellent quality. Big energy also filled the entire room with thousands of MONSTIEZ (fan bases) present.
Appearing slick as a group, the members also took turns showing their skills through a solo appearance. They performed songs that had been performed at the Last Evaluation (2023) event initiated by YG Entertainment. On the sidelines of a solo appearance, Woke Up In Tokyo was also performed through the duet of Ruka and Asa.
Furthermore, BABYMONSTER returned to perform their own songs, such as Love, Maybe, DREAM, BILLIONAIRE, Really Like You, FORVER, and Love in My Heart.
They also paid special tribute to seniors at YG, BLACKPINK, by performing covers of the songs 'Kill This Love' and As If It's Your Last.

In a show that lasted almost two hours, BABYMONSTER performed 20 songs plus five songs during encore with the band playing live.
The concept of a live band for a group that has only been around for more than a year since debut shows the quality of BABYMONSTER. They are like great performers while showing great development in the K-pop music industry itself.
Said a friend who loves K-pop groups more than me, YG Entertainment seems to have its own standards by involving the band when the group they support holds concert tours around the world.
I am more used to hearing the sound of musical instruments than the results of computer processing, even enjoying the show so much. I didn't think about leaving the concert area.
Organizers and promoters also deserve appreciation for their work. K-pop group concerts do put high standards for visuals on stage, but loudspeaker systems also get very good treatment.
The sound that came out of the BABYMONSTER members sounded so clear from where I was standing (on CAT 2B). Even the unreachable notation was heard several times. However, this is a live show.
In addition, the drum sound is very pampering to the ears. I also came to the conclusion that the loudspeaker system that night was much better than many other concerts that actually featured big bands.
Being a witness to BABYMONSTER's first world tour is a fortune in itself. I became convinced that they would only become bigger in the future.
Basically, the K-pop music group concert in Indonesia is very comfortable and fun. Those who attended were very diverse, ranging from teenagers, young adults, to parents who accompanied their children.
When entering the ICE BSD area, I walked to the room without the need to queue long to enter. Several interesting installations were also presented for those who liked to take selfies. And which eventually went viral on social media, the promoter served free food and drinks in the audience waiting area which was side by side with the dining and drinking area.
Entering the show room BABYMONSTER appeared on stage children and teenagers who looked innocent became very violent. They follow every song performed, shouts, and sometimes jumps happily.
This BABYMONSTER concert is not my first K-pop group show, but still, even though it's just a casual listener, new experiences are always gained. In fact, I got a new playlist from their first-new setlist.
The audience's satisfaction seems to be also felt by the members of BABYMONSTER. At the end of their appearance, they praised the energy that fans always showed in Indonesia.
I would like to thank all of you all who have come here tonight. You are all very amazing audiences and I can hear your voices very clearly. So, thank you very much for singing and dancing together in our performances," said Harita.
BABYMONSTER also made an important promise for MONSTIEZ. They will return as soon as possible to greet fans in Indonesia.
We are also grateful to be able to meet with fans through a big concert like this. We will try our best to return to Jakarta as soon as possible. So, continue to show great love for BABYMONSTER," said Ahyeon.
