Israeli Troops Destroy 120 Iranian Missile Launchers
JAKARTA - The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) destroyed more than 120 Iranian missile launchers during four days exchanged attacks. This number is one third of the total Iranian missile launchers.
The Israeli Air Force destroyed more than 20 surface-to-surface missiles on Sunday, June 15 evening before being launched into Israeli territory, IDF spokesman Effie Defrin said on Monday, June 16.
Defrin said the air force used about 50 fighter jets and aircraft to strike about 100 military targets in Isfahan, central Iran.
"In this attack, more than 20 missiles were attacked simultaneously, minutes before being launched into the territory of the State of Israel," said an IDF spokesman.
Recent reports, Iran fired 370 ballistic missiles and hundreds of drones into Israel during four days of conflict. As of Monday morning, 24 people were killed in Israel and 592 others were injured, with 10 of them in serious condition.
Reported by CNN, Monday, June 16, the missile projectile managed to hit 30 sites in Israel. Meanwhile in Iran, 224 people have died since Friday, June 13 last week.
Three people in the northern Israeli city of Haifa were killed in an Iranian missile attack last night against Israel, said national emergency service Magen David Adom.
Thus, the death toll from last night's attack killed 8 people - one person - in the city of Bnei Brak, central Israel, and four people in Petah Tikva.
Video footage showed an explosion hitting an area around an oil refinery in Haifa, damaging buildings and burning infrastructure.
