Spread In 67,000 Villages, BRILink Transactions Reach 443 Million Until May 2025

JAKARTA - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk noted that from January to May 2025, BRILink services recorded 443 million transactions, supported by 1.19 million agents spread across 67,013 villages throughout Indonesia.

By providing transaction access such as cash withdrawals, transfers, and bill payments, Agent BRILink also contributed IDR 643 billion to non-interest income (Fee Based Income) for BRI during that period.

BRI Corporate Secretary Agustya Hendy Bernadi conveyed that the increasingly strategic role of Agent BRILink itself cannot be separated from the concrete steps taken by BRI in strengthening the foundations and capabilities of agency networks in Indonesian territory.

Among them are strengthening digital systems and infrastructure to increase reliability, efficiency, and transaction security at the agent level.

BRI also enriches the service features offered, so that agents can provide various financial solutions to the community. In addition to cash withdrawals, transfers, bill payments. Purchase of micro insurance, loan deposits, referral services for opening savings accounts and other microfinance services can be served by Agent BRILink," said Hendy, Monday, June 16.

Hendy also revealed that although digital transformation and presence of fintech are growing, BRI sees that the potential of Agent BRILink is still very large.

"This is because the circulation of cash and payment patterns in cash still dominate, even experiencing an increase in many areas," he said.

According to him, with a mature strategy and consistent execution, BRI is optimistic that Agent BRILink can create business opportunities for the local community.

In fact, in the future Agent BRILink will continue to be a driving force for the regional economy as well as encourage financial literacy and inclusion throughout Indonesia.
