Zak Starkeylanjur Refuses To Be Involved In Oasis Reunion Concert Before Being Fired By The Who

Drummer Zak Starkey has again revealed interesting facts about his dismissal from The Who. He admitted that he had turned down a tour offer with Oasis for The Who, but in fact he was fired shortly after.

Zak does have a track record with the Gallagher brothers. From 2004 to 2008 he was a tour member with the legendary band from Manchester.

That's why the offer had come to him to hold an Oasis reunion tour in several countries. But because of that time he wanted to commit to The Who. Zak refused.

As previously reported, Zak Starkey was dismissed by Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend after The Who performed at Royal Albert Hall. Roger stopped in the middle of a performance while performing The Song Is Over, a long-standing song not played.

Roger Daltrey feels something is wrong with Zak's drum game. He said the drummer hit the wrong tap, causing their appearance to fall apart. The drummer was fired after a gig through their manager.

Shortly after, The Who announced that Zak was still part of them. The communication problem that occurred is said to have been resolved. However, another misunderstanding occurred less than a month.

Zak Starkey revealed that he wanted to retire from his solo project, and was misinterpreted by The Who if he stopped making music. He was again 'expelled' from the group.

"What happened was Roger and I understand different things," Zak Starkay told the Telegraph, citing Billboard on June 16.

At the wawamcara, Zak Starkey also assumed that the two dismissals by The Who also had something to do with his involvement in Oasis. He also had to receive bad luck because he had refused Oasis just to be fired from The Who.
