Open Debate Held For The Election Of The New Chairman Of IKAPRAMA For The 2025-2029 Period

JAKARTA - The Prasetiya Mulya Alumni Association (IKAPRAMA) will soon determine the new General Chairperson for the 2025'2029 period. As a consideration for voters, an open debate entitled "Together Going To Action, Collaboration in Vision" was held on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at the ACT Hall Building 2, Campus Prasetiya Mulya Cilandak, South Jakarta.

The debate was also broadcast live through the IKAPRAMA YouTube channel Prasetiya Mulya, where two candidates collided with ideas openly.

The two debate participants have gone through administrative selection and have passed the total of five candidates. "The requirements for IKAPRAMA General Chair candidate are quite strict, so only two of the five candidates meet the requirements and pass the selection," said Prasetiya Mulya University Co-Provost II, Dr. Stevanus Vishnu Wijaya.

The first candidate to pass the selection and run as a candidate for General Chair is Adharta Ongkosaputra alumni of MM Modular 1988, a businessman and founder and CEO of PT Aditya Aryaprawira, a company engaged in logistics. Then the second candidate is Edy Sutrisman alumni of MMSM 47, a professional who serves as President Commissioner of PT Rekayasa Engineering, with a long experience in the engineering & construction sector, both at home and abroad.

Both have a corporate leadership track record, are active in the organization, and are committed to building a more inclusive and collaborative alumni community.

Debates present two panelists who guide the course of the discussion. The first panelist is the President Director of PT Arthaguna Ciptarana, Safitri Siswono (alumni MMBM 8), which is known to be active in various business community leadership and development activities. The second panelist is Co-Provost II of Prasetiya Mulya University, Dr. Stevanus Wisnu Wijaya, who has a wide academic background and experience in the development of educational institutions. Debates are guided by Leander Reshadatu Rusdiono (alumni MMBM 38), who is also professional of RDN Consulting and is part of the IKAPRAMA Financial Club.

The two candidates explored the importance of strengthening cross-border databases and relations, cross-level, and a sustainable relationship between alumni and alma maters.

The first candidate, Adharta Ongkosaputra, conveyed the importance of integrating alumni through a good means and a strong bond. For this reason, communication is needed to strengthen the relationship that has been established and eliminate gaps or distances between generations.

In addition, Adharta also highlighted the importance of expanding access to Prasmul alumni to work in alumni-owned companies. Strengthening alumni databases that have large companies can increase opportunities for junior alumni to develop careers, he said.

Adharta also conveyed his commitment to strengthening the relationship between Prasetiya Mulya and the world's top university in order to bring Prasmul's name to the international level. "I hope that Prasmul alumni must be able to contribute to the national economy", Adharta hoped.

Meanwhile, the second candidate, Edy Sutrisman, conveyed the importance of maintaining solidarity and sustainability in the IKAPRAMA that has been well established, especially in entrepreneurship. We need to facilitate alumni entrepreneurship through synergized networks, so that IKAPRAMA is expected to help also develop alumni' businesses, hoped Edy.

Furthermore, Edy strengthened his commitment to assisting alumni entrepreneurship in the program launched. "Within 100 days of leadership, we have prepared a business matching program to bring together alumni who have businesses with alumni who have the potential to become investors," he said.

Edy also said that Prasetiya Mulya's name was students and alumni. For this reason, the relationship between students and alumni needs to be strengthened with IKPRAMA as the bridge. "We will knock on the doors of companies affiliated with alumni to provide internship opportunities to students, so that a strong relationship can be established between students and alumni," said Edy.

Chairman of IKAPRAMA for the 2020-2025 period, Maspiyono hopes that the new General Chair can continue the existing good program. "I hope that even though the candidates this time compete, in the future all of them can synergize after this general election to build IKAPRAMA in the future," Maspiyono hoped.

Adharta Ongkosaputra carries the vision of building a solid, impactful, and real organization alumni community. Adharta offers a strategic and action-oriented leadership approach. Its mission includes strengthening cross-enforced alumni networks and programs, bridging alumni' connections with alma maters, as well as creating social and economic impacts through various alumni programs. He also emphasized social contributions through scholarships, alumni career development, and increasing alumni branding in the digital era to strengthen alumni' roles in the national and global arenas.

Meanwhile, Edy Sutrisman conveyed the vision of becoming a trusted synergy glue between alumni, students, alma maters, and the community. He emphasized the importance of strategic collaboration with large corporations to open up opportunities for sponsorship, internships, and careers. Edy also initiated the Prasmulyan Buddy program which connects senior alumni with young alumni in the form of coaching and mentoring, as well as programs such as IKAPRAMA Fest and Prasmulyan Care for the Environment to strengthen a sense of togetherness and build the image of alumni as agents of social and environmental change.

Thousands of alumni took part in this debate event, both directly and online, as a form of active participation in the process of democratizing alumni organizations. The results of the debate will be an important consideration in the online voting process which will take place on June 30 July 6, 2025, involving more than 16,000 IKAPRAMA active members.

Maspiyono also said that IKAPRAMA regularly holds alumni meetings through the Monthly Golf Tournament of the Prasetiya Mulya Golf Association (PGPM) which is attended by 70 to 100 alumni every month.

This activity strengthens alumni ties and expands professional networks. In addition to the golf tournament, the Prasmul alumni community is also actively conducting networking forums, sharing insights, and exchanging cross-sectoral experiences. This is increasingly relevant because many alumni are now occupying strategic positions in government, state-owned enterprises, private companies, and global corporations," he concluded.
