Will Invite Anies To JIS After Being Improved, Pramono: The Atmosphere Must Be Different, My Host, Good People

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung invited former DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan to see the condition of the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) after infrastructure improvements were carried out.

This was revealed by Pramono at the Jakarta Future Festival at Taman Ismail Marzuki which was also attended by Anies.

"I told Mr. Anies earlier. Mas, when did you see Persija playing at JIS?" said Pramono, Sunday, June 15.

Pramono admitted that he would invite Anies to watch the Persija Jakarta match which will be held again at JIS after being fixed. Pramono believes Anies will be amazed.

"Later, when the bridge is finished, then the parking lot is good, the atmosphere must be very different when Mas Anies watches. For what? My hosts. The hosts are good people, not people make Mas Anies feel uncomfortable," explained Pramono.

On that occasion, Pramono admitted that he still paid attention to the legacy or legacy of the Governor of DKI Jakarta. One of them is JIS which was founded since Anies' leadership in 2019.

"In the past, JIS, frankly, if the most basic problem is not resolved, so that JIS is really used well, people will definitely feel that JIS is a burden. But I don't have a burden, I will continue everything good from the previous governors," he explained.

He dissected, one of JIS' main problems that became public complaints was the limited parking space for visitors.

Thus, the DKI Provincial Government is planning to build a bridge from JIS to Ancol as a liaison. This makes it easier for residents who visit JIS by parking their vehicles in Ancol.

"JIS and Ancol need to be connected to the bridge approximately 300 meters. Why if people watch it, for example yesterday (concers) Maroon5 or Dewa19 and so on, all complained because the parking was indeed a problem," explained Pramono.

"If then you can park in Ancol, then there is a shuttle bus or whatever will connect between Ancol and JIS, in Ancol it can also park 10 thousand cars. It will really solve the basic problem," he added.
