Michelle Zuidith Betrayed By Her Husband In The Film Assalamualaikum Baitullah, Shows In Cinemas July 17
JAKARTA - The latest film produced by VMS Studio, Assalamualaikum Baitullah, officially released the first poster and trailer.
The film Assalamualaikum Baitullah is a touching drama film, based on Asma Nadia's best seller novel, and is the latest collaboration project between producer Tony Ramesh and director Hadrah Daeng Ratu after their success in the film Pemandi Jenazah.
In this film, the audience will be invited to follow Amira's story, a woman whose life collapsed due to betrayal and the loss of her loved ones.
In the midst of despair, Amira began her journey to the Holy Land which slowly brought her back to God, to herself, and to the meaning of a new life.
The trailer, which was released to the public, features a unified and heartbreaking feel, depicting how Amira, played by Michelle Ziudith, faces a bitter reality about her household.
Full of suspicion of her husband's change in attitude, Amira finally had to accept the painful reality that rocked her life. When prayers felt insufficient and the world seemed not to side with, her journey to the Holy Land became a kind of space for recognition and inner recovery.
In silence, he tried to get back on his feet. In the wound, he began to learn to be sincere and surrender. Will Amira find her soul mate again after being betrayed?
For Tony Ramesh, the producer, the story in this film is very close to him.
The film Assalamualaikum Baitullah represents my personal concern, and I am also sure that many people out there have experienced trials of life until they thought about ending everything. This story is a sincere reminder that even though prayers are not enough, there is always a way back for those who survive. This film talks about sincerity, about standing even though the heart collapses, and about the beauty of surviving all problems," he said.
The director, Hadrah Daeng Ratu, added that the power of this film lies in silence and deep taste.
The most interesting thing about the film Assalamualaikum Baitullah is how this film touches the deepest part of the audience's heart. It does not scream, does not propagate tears vulgarly, but is secretly absorbed. I believe this film will be a reflection space for many people, especially women, who are struggling in silence," he said.

Michelle Ziudith, who plays the character Amira, admitted that this character has become one of the most emotional roles of her career.
"Amira is a woman who looks strong, but harbors deep inner wounds. She is a symbol of determination in silence, and finders true meaning in her spiritual journey. Often she bears the burden without speaking, and that is precisely what makes me and maybe the audience connected emotionally with her. From Amira, we can learn about sincerity and the best soul mate is indeed a journey that is sometimes not easy, "said Michelle, remembering the process of exploring the character.
Besides Michelle Ziudith, this film also stars talented actors such as Miqdad Addausy, Ummi Quary, Maudy Koesnaedi, Vonny Anggraini, and Sadana Agung. The plan is for this film to start showing in theaters on July 17.
