Celebrate The 543rd HJB, Bogor City Government And Immigration Present Simplicial Passport Services

BOGOR The Bogor City Government is collaborating with the Bogor Non-TPI Immigration Office to open a Simplicial Passport service outside of working hours, in commemoration of the 543rd Bogor Anniversary (HJB).

The Mayor of Bogor, Dedie A. Rachim, said that this service is a form of the government's commitment to providing fast, comfortable, affordable, and quality public services.

"This is the answer to the wishes of residents who want fast, comfortable, cheap, and definite services, as did the Immigration Office," said Dedie on Saturday, June 14, 2025.

He added that out-of-work services are a solution for workers who have difficulty managing passports on weekdays. "People's hope for faster, better, and cheaper services has been realized by the Regional Office and the Bogor City Immigration Office," he said.

Director of Immigration Stay Permit and Status, Jaya Saputra, who was present representing Plt. The Director General of Immigration, emphasized that his party is committed to providing immigration services that are easy, fast, transparent, and humane.

"Through the Simplicial Passport service, we bring services closer directly to the community with a spirit of collaboration and responsiveness to needs," he said.

According to Jaya, this program not only facilitates access to immigration services, but also becomes a tangible form of inclusive and interactive service transformation. He added that good public services are part of regional development that must continue to be strengthened through inter-institutional synergy.

Head of the Class I Immigration Office of Non TPI Bogor, Ritus Ramadhana, explained that the Simpatic Passport service is the result of collaboration between the central government, regional technical implementing units, and the Bogor City Government.

"We open this service for two days, Saturday and Sunday, to make it easier for the public to manage passports," he said.

If on weekday passport services only serve about 350 people, in this HJB momentum, the Simplicial Passport service is opened for 543 applicants as a symbol of the 543rd HJB commemoration. Services are held at Bogor City Hall.

To support the smooth running of services, the immigration authorities provided 10 service booths. In addition, a free passport was given to residents who had their birthday in June, and a free passport prize quiz was held.
