Manchester City Enters All New Players For The 2025 Club World Cup

JAKARTA - Jack Grealish is not on the list of 27 Manchester City players for the 2025 Club World Cup.

While there is no place for the former player for 100 million pounds, new players such as Rayan Ait-Nouri, Rayan Cherki, and Tijjani Reijnders are among the players selected by Pep Guardiola.

According to ESPN reports, Grealish has been the subject of interest from a number of Premier League clubs, including Everton, and from overseas clubs. However, any negotiations have not yet reached the advanced stage.

Guardiola hinted after a win over Fulham in the last match of the 2024/2025 Premier League that Grealish may have to leave the Etihad Stadium to get a chance to play regularly in the first team.

Kyle Walker is also not on the list of players who took part in Manchester City's trip to the United States.

The England defender, whose contract at the club is valid until 2026, left Etihad in January 2025 to join AC Milan on loan until the end of the season.

James McAtee is also absent because he captained England at Euro U-21 instead of traveling to the United States.

Meanwhile, Manchester City will face Morocco's Wydad AC in the opening match of the 2025 Club World Cup in Philadelphia on 18 June 2025.
