A total of six doctors at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital (RS), East Jakarta, treated a child with the initials MK (7) who was allegedly tortured by his parents at Kebayoran Lama Market, South Jakarta.

"The Bhayangkara Tk I Hospital of the National Police Health Center (Polri Hospital) at the direction of the leadership has prepared six doctors in collaboration," said Deputy Head of Bhayangkara Hospital (Wakarumkit) Tk I Pusdokkes Polri Police Commissioner Erwin Zainul Hakim quoting Antara.

Erwin said the victim had been referred from the Kebayoran Lama Hospital on Thursday, June 12 and arrived at the Emergency Room (IGD) at 21:54 WIB.

"The maximum effort we can provide for patients with six doctors is now from intensive care in the 'Pediatric Intensive Care Unit' (PICU) room," said Erwinn.

Erwin ensured that the hospital would continue to monitor the patient's condition and provide further updates according to procedures.

The Constitutional Court (7), which is suspected of being tortured by its parents at Kebayoran Lama Market, South Jakarta, was dehydrated and injured by sharp objects when it was first discovered.

Initially, the Kebayoran Lama Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) was conducting patrols in the Kebayoran Lama Market area on Wednesday (11/6) at 07.20 WIB.

The child was found alone and claimed to have been tortured by his parents. His position is on a cardboard box and is sleeping in the aisle of the market.

However, the child has not been able to provide further information regarding the torture or abuse experienced because it is still difficult to speak.

To follow up on the findings of the child who was allegedly tortured by his parents, the Kebayoran Lama Satpol PP has coordinated with the South Jakarta Metro Police Health Service, Social Service and Women and Children Service Unit (PPA).
