Police Arrest Bogor Citizen Todong Pistol To Courier

BOGOR - Bogor Police, West Java, arrested a resident of Tenjolaya, Bogor Regency with the initials (G), a suspect who pointed an airsoft gun at an online shop courier.

"We managed to secure the suspect at his residence and found that the suspect had two weapons which were known to be airsoft guns," said Bogor Police Chief, AKBP Harun, quoted by Antara, Monday, May 3.

The suspect's arrest was preceded by a report from the victim to the police after the mugging, whose video recording had gone viral on social media.

The hold was because the suspect was annoyed because he ordered sandals at an online shop, but the items sent were always different from what the suspect wanted.

"So he wanted black, but chose chocolate in the online shop, so the one sent was brown. So because he had made three mistakes, he was annoyed and pointed his gun at the courier," said Harun.

Harun explained that the type of airsoft gun owned by the suspect was Colt Defender '90 and Glock '19. The two weapons were bought by the suspect via social media Facebook on March 13.

Based on the suspect's confession, the weapon was purchased for personal protective equipment while working as an online motorcycle taxi.

The suspect is threatened with being charged under Article 368 of the Criminal Code, 335 of the Criminal Code, and Article 1 paragraph 1 of the Emergency Law Number 12 of 1951 with the threat of life imprisonment.
