Braze Launches Data Center In Indonesia, Reinforces Expansion Commitment At APAC

JAKARTA - Braze, a leading customer engagement platform, officially launched its first data center in Indonesia. Launched at the Braze Connections Jakarta: Building Customer Confidence in the Era of Artificial Intelligence and Personalization. This investment marks the important achievement of Braze in Indonesia and the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.

This launch follows the opening of the Braze office in Jakarta in September 2023 and reflects Braze's strong commitment to supporting local businesses through the best customer engagement solution in its class.

Braze allows various businesses, ranging from Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to corporations, utilizing Braze's AI capabilities to provide personalization and real-time services according to local consumer needs, as well as ensuring security and compliance with data regulations.

Braze has appointed Franz Sihaloho as Country Director for Indonesia. He brought a broad experience of his previous leadership roles in several global technology companies in Indonesia.

As part of Braze's ongoing investment in the region, Braze plans to recruit more of its best talent and expand offices in Jakarta next month to help businesses in Indonesia build long-term relationships with their customers.

The Indonesian government has a target to increase Indonesia's Digital Competitiveness from 51th in 2022 to 20th in 2045, with a digital economic contribution of 20% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

To achieve this vision, the government must prioritize reliable and secure digital infrastructure. The presence of local data centers plays an important role in helping businesses operate with lower latency, better compliance, and greater customer confidence. This investment strengthens Braze's commitment to contribute to improving the digital economy through the development of digital infrastructure.
