Apple Targets Launch Of AI-Based Sophisticated Siri On IOS 26.4

JAKARTA The polemic of delaying Siri based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) seems to be ending next year. According to latest information, Apple has targeted a more advanced Siri assistant launch schedule.

Reporting from Bloomberg, this AI-based Siri will launch as part of iOS 26.4. The Operations System (OS) is believed to be released next year. When viewed from Apple's launch timeline, the fourth OS update will arrive in March.

This schedule can change at any time, depending on Apple's readiness. If the company is ready to roll out AI-based Siri to compatible devices, the virtual assistant may be present in March or even earlier.

When asked about Siri's AI-powered launch specific schedule, the tech company has always refused to answer. However, Apple insists that this updated Siri will certainly be released in the coming year.

If the Siri, which is claimed to be sophisticated, is never available next year, Apple may have failed to develop AI in it. The reason is, this is not the first time Apple has postponed Siri's AI-based launch schedule.

The company was supposed to launch Siri with more advanced capabilities in the fall last year. However, until the beginning of this year, AI Siri did not attend. In the end, Apple admitted to facing internal problems and attracting advertisements regarding advanced Siri.

According to reports circulating, the slow launch of AI-based Siri is based on technical issues, such as a bug-filled architecture by combining old and new systems. Unfortunately, Apple doesn't have enough time to fix the problem on iOS 18.
