Corruption In The Bor Well Of The Ministry Of Villages PDTT In East Lombok, 2 Suspects Have Not Been Detained Because They Are Absent From Calls

The Prosecutor's Office has left the detention of a suspect in the alleged corruption of the Bore wells of the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration (Kemendes PDTT) at the Class II B Selong Correctional Institution (Lapas).

Head of the Special Crimes Section of the East Lombok District Attorney (Kejari), Ida Bagus Putu Swadharma, said that the detention was a follow-up to the determination of four suspects on Thursday, June 12.

"Following up the determination, investigators detained two of the four suspects. Those who were detained at the Selong Prison with the initials DA and ABS," he said in a statement, Friday, June 13, was confiscated by Antara.

The other two suspects, with the initials M and AST, have not yet been detained because they were not present at the summons on Thursday, June 12.

"Because they did not attend, investigators will again make summons," he said.

He explained that the four suspects in this case were the parties involved in the implementation of the 2017 budget year project.

"PPK (commitment making official) project initials DS, provider initials ABS, then M the work implementer and initials AST as the supervisory consultant," he said.

The determination of the four suspects, according to him, is in accordance with the results of the case that has been followed up by the Head of the East Lombok Kejari by issuing a suspect determination letter Number: Tap-02 /N.2.12 / Fd.2 / 06/2025 dated June 12, 2025.

Investigators named them suspects by applying Article 2 paragraph (1) and/or Article 3 in conjunction with Article 18 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law No. 20 of 2001 jo. Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code jo. Article 65 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.

The alleged corruption in this case was strengthened by the results of the audit of state financial losses from the NTB Inspectorate with a value of Rp1.05 billion from the nominal project of Rp1.13 billion.

The Prosecutor's Office in the investigation stage has carried out a series of collecting evidence from witness examinations and related documents. It was recorded that there were dozens of witnesses who provided information in the investigation process.

Witnesses come from the East Lombok Regency Government, the central government, in this case the Kemendes PDTT as the distributor of projects, contractors, and private parties related to the implementation of activities.

The project worth Rp1.13 billion came from the DIPA APBN in 2017. The project was realized through the Directorate of Food-Prone Regional Development of the Ministry of Villages PDTT RI.

The project, which is located in Suela District, East Lombok Regency, was carried out by CV Samas. The investigation into this case stems from the status of the project that has stalled since the year of work.
