Trenggalek Raup PAD Rp1.25 M From PLTSa Investment
JAKARTA - The Trenggalek Regency Government, East Java, will reap original regional revenue (PAD) of Rp1.25 billion from cooperation in the use of regional land for investment in waste power plants (PLTSa) with PT Concentrix Industries Indonesia.
The lease of 9.8 hectares of land for PLTSa with a maximum capacity of 35 MW is located in Ngantrong Village, Pogalan District.
Trenggalek Regent Mochamad Nur Arifin explained that the land lease period was set for 30 years and divided into three stages, each of which was 10 years.
"For the first stage, payments are made at the same time at the beginning. This shows the seriousness of investors in their commitment to building investment in Trenggalek," said the Regent who is familiarly called Mas Ipin as reported by ANTARA, Friday, June 13.
Mas Ipin added, apart from renting land, later this collaboration will also open up opportunities for the Trenggalek Regency Government to get a golden share after the project reaches a break-even point (BEP).
However, what is more important, he continued, is that this investment is expected to be a solution in sustainable waste and waste management in the regions.
"This waste management is very urgent, especially being one of the president's main concerns. He even formed a special team and emphasized the importance of transforming from open dumping to more modern management," he said.
According to him, the Trenggalek Regency Government is ready to provide full support so that this investment plan can run according to plan.
"Anyone who comes with good intentions to build Trenggalek, we will help. We will facilitate Step by step as best we can," he explained.
Meanwhile, President Director of Concentrix Industries Indonesia Asep Nugraha said his company had signed a land lease agreement as a continuation of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) and the previously agreed cooperation agreement.
"After this, we will continue to the next stage so that the construction of PLTS can begin immediately. The maximum planned capacity is 35 megawatts, using the technology we developed ourselves," explained Asep.
Asep expressed his gratitude for the cooperation with the Trenggalek Regency Government.

"The excess of our system does not burden local governments. There is no waste management cost from the APBD. After the contract expires for 30 years, we will pay all technology and infrastructure to local governments," said Asep.
