JAKARTA - Five family members of KRI Nanggala 402 victims in Tulungagung Regency, East Java, received assistance in facilitating driving licenses from Satpas SIM Tulungagung, Monday, May 3.
The symbolic handover of the free SIM management was led by the Head of the Traffic Identity Reg Identification Unit of the Tulungagung Police, Iptu Saifudin.
"This is a form of our moral assistance to the families of the crew of KRI Nanggala 402," said Iptu Saifudin to media crews in Tulungagung as quoted by Antara.
There are five people who get SIM free assistance. Three of them are parents and younger siblings of Sertu (Ttu) Ardi Ardiansyah (25), and the other two are the father and mother of Kelasi One (Machine) M Faqihudin Munir (26).
Sertu Ardi and Kelasi One (Machine) M. Faqihudin Munir were two crew members of the KRI Nanggala 402 who were declared missing along with the sinking of the submarine belonging to the Indonesian Navy in the North Sea of Bali on Wednesday (21/4/2021).
The assistance provided was in the form of SIM A and SIM C. In addition to providing convenience in managing SIM, the Tulungagung Police Precinct Traffic Police also provided convenience in managing the transfer of vehicles belonging to the victim's family.
"The most important thing is of course moral assistance. But we will also help by providing facilities related to our services in the field of traffic," he said.
He hopes that the assistance provided by the Traffic Police of the Tulungagung Police can ease the suffering burden experienced by the family of the KRI Nanggala 402 crew.
During the SIM service process, an atmosphere of grief still enveloped the families of Sertu Ardi and Kelasi One M Faqihudin.
M. Faqihudin's father was seen several times wiping the water that had pooled on his eyelids.
Likewise with the father and mother of Sertu Ardi. "We thank you very much for the assistance and support provided," said the father of Sertu Ardiansyah, representing the families of the victims of the KRI Nanggala 402 crew.
