VOI Today: Bobby Nasution Doesn't Accept North Sumatra Called 'Take '4 Islands, Meet North Sumatra Governor Muzakir

The Ministry of Home Affairs has decided that Mangkir Kecil Island, Mangkir Besar Island, Panjang Island, and Lipan Island are included in the administrative area of Central Tapanuli, North Sumatra.

The Acehnese protested, not accepting the Ministry of Home Affairs' decision. North Sumatra Governor Bobby Nasution met with Aceh Governor Muzakir Manaf. Bobby invited the Aceh Provincial Government to jointly manage the potential of the island's four natural resources.

Meanwhile, Aceh Governor Muzakir Manaf emphasized that the 4 islands belonged to Aceh. Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian invited parties who did not accept the decision to sue the Administrative Court. As is known, Aceh has a Regional Special Autonomy, so that Aceh can regulate government affairs and the interests of its own people.

The polemic of ownership of these 4 islands also received attention from members of the council. Member of Commission III of the DPR from Aceh, Nasir Djamil believes the 4 islands belong to Aceh.

The DPR MKD Council Nazaruddin Dek Gam also urged the Minister of Home Affairs Tito to immediately return the ownership of the four islands to Aceh.
