Aceh Governor Muzakir Manaf: 4 Islands Are The Authority And Rights Of Aceh

JAKARTA - Aceh Governor Muzakir Manaf emphasized that the four islands set by the Ministry of Home Affairs to enter the Central Tapanuli region, North Sumatra were baseless. Because, according to him, from history and location, the four islands are indeed in the Aceh region.

This was conveyed by Muzakir Manaf when met by reporters at JCC, Jakarta, Thursday, June 12.

Muzakir also did not discuss the four islands that became disputes with President Prabowo Subianto when he met at the closing ceremony of the 2025 International Conference in Infrastructure (ICI) at JCC Senayan, Jakarta.

The Aceh Provincial Government and the Aceh DPR are planned to sit down together to discuss the advocacy steps that will be taken.
