Collaborating With Green SM, Gojek Launches GoGreen SM Service On Its Application

JAKARTA - Green SM, a service provider for the electric taxi fleet, announced its strategic collaboration with Gojek, through the launch of the GoGreen SM service on the Gojek application.

This collaboration offers an increasingly diverse mobility option, adding to the choice of four-wheeled services available in the Gojek application to answer various community mobility needs, as well as support the national agenda in tackling air pollution.

"This collaboration is a tangible manifestation of our commitment to support the government's mission to achieve the net zero emission target by providing options for the public for emission-free transportation services," said Managing Director Green SM Indonesia, Deny Tjia in a statement.

Meanwhile, Gojek's Head of Transport, Steven Halim, emphasized that his collaboration with Green SM reinforces Gojek's position as an on-demand service provider who is able to answer various community mobility needs.

"We hope that this collaboration can provide more access to mobility services, so that it can answer the high public interest in using the services available in the Gojek application," he added.

For Gojek, this collaborative step will strengthen the achievement in 2024 where Gojek succeeded in increasing the adoption of electric vehicle usage by 3 times and increasing travel by electric vehicle up to 5 times compared to the previous year.

In addition, through the GoGreener Tree Collective Tree Planting Movement (GoGreener Tree Collective) feature, Gojek makes it easier and facilitates every user to adopt a new, more environmentally friendly lifestyle.

With the presence of the Green SM electric vehicle fleet in the Gojek ecosystem, people now have more choices of transportation that are not only comfortable, but also contribute to reducing carbon footprint in urban areas.
