Android 16 Officially Launches, Take A Peek At Its Latest Features
JAKARTA Google officially launched Android 16 on Tuesday, June 10. The first device that will get an operating system (OS) update is the latest version of the Pixel phone.
In a recent report posted on the Google page, the company said that it will also bring Android 16 to more OEMs by the end of this year. This latest OS will include many important updates.
The company will simplify notifications on various Android phones, strengthen the security of its features and systems, and improve performance from OS on Samsung DeX. This feature can change the appearance of phones and tablets such as PC desktops.
Google only highlighted the three features although there were many other small improvements added. To find out more clearly about the changes on Android 16, here's a summary of the update.
Delivery Notification Every 5 Minutes
Google made an interesting update on Android 16 for adding real-time delivery notification capabilities. The company partnered with some app partners to simplify its notifications.
For example, when a user orders food, they don't have to keep opening the application. Real-time updates will be displayed in the notification section. Apart from Pixel, devices that will definitely receive this feature are Samsung, OPPO, and OnePlus.
