Police Arrest 5 Suspects Of Cameroonian Foreigner Killer In Bogor
Bogor Resort Police uncovered the murder case of a foreign national (WNA) from Cameroon with the initials STR who was found dead in the Babakan Madang area, Bogor Regency, West Java.
A total of five suspects were arrested in a number of areas related to this case.
Bogor Police Chief AKBP Rio Wahyu Anggoro said the incident began when the victim said goodbye to his wife on May 3, 2025. However, until the next day, the victim did not return home and could not be contacted.
"At around 10:00 WIB on the same day, the family received information that the victim had been found dead in Bangkong Reang Village, Cijayanti Village, Babakan Madang District," Rio said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, June 10.
The body was then taken to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta, and identified by the family. This incident was reported to the Babakan Madang Police and followed up by the Bogor Police Criminal Investigation Unit.
Based on the report, the Mobile Investigation Team (Resmob) moved quickly and managed to arrest five suspects in a number of different areas.
The first arrest was made of suspect SG in the Bali Police area, followed by K in the East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police. Then the suspects UA and ZI were secured in the jurisdiction of the West Sumatra Police, and the suspect RI was arrested in the North Sumatra Police area," he said.

The five suspects are known to have acknowledged their involvement in the murder of the victim. Currently, all suspects have been detained at the Bogor Police Headquarters for further investigation.
"This case is a priority and will be thoroughly investigated in accordance with applicable legal provisions," said the Police Chief.
