Mariah Carey Finally Wins First BET Awards

JAKARTA - BET Awards 2025 finally gave a special award to the gold-noise diva, Mariah Carey. In this first BET trophy, Carey immediately won the Ultimate Icon Award.

The award is proof as well as a high appreciation given to him for his three and a half decades of career in the music industry. For Mariah, this trophy has its own meaning.

Busta Rhymes presented the award at an event held on Monday, June 9 yesterday. He delivered an emotional speech, showing his respect for the 56-year-old singer.

Mariah Carey also conveyed something important to the audience. Through her victory, she hopes that everyone can accept themselves and become their respective versions of the 'diva'.
