The Palace Ensures Luxury Hours For The Football National Team From President Prabowo's Money

JAKARTA - There are many on social media criticisms regarding the gift of Rolex luxury watches to Indonesian football national team players by President Prabowo Subianto. Some considered that the awarding of luxury watches was too much.

To reporters at the Merdeka Palace Complex, Jakarta, Tuesday, June 10, the Minister of State Secretary who is also the Presidential Spokesperson, Prasetyo Hadi, opened his voice. Prasetyo Hadi emphasized that the gift of the Rolex luxury watch did not come from the state budget.

Launching the official Rolex website, the GMT-Master II Rolex watch which is said to have been given to the national team is priced at IDR 285 - IDR 762 million depending on the model.

As previously reported, President Prabowo Subianto gave a prize to the Indonesian football national team players after crushing China in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers with a score of 1-0.
