A Total Of 51,314 Hajj Pilgrims Return To Indonesia Via Soetta Airport Starting June 12

TANGERANG - General Manager of PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (InJourney) Soekarno-Hatta Airport Branch Office (Soetta), Dwi Ananda Wicaksana revealed, as many as 51,314 hajjes will return to their homeland from 12 June to 10 July 2025 via Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Terminal, Tangerang, Banten.

"Overall, 51,314 Hajj will arrive and will arrive gradually until July 10, 2025," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, June 9.

He said that the first phase of the return of the pilgrims began with the arrival of pilgrims from the Jakarta-Pondok Gede (JKG) and Jakarta-Bekasi (JKS) embarkation on Thursday, June 12 in the morning.

"They will return home using Garuda Indonesia and Saudia Airlines by going through Terminal 2F of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport," he said.

With the return of the pilgrims to their homeland, his party has ensured that all supporting facilities are ready to be used during the return period.

According to Dwi, services range from the smooth arrival process, an integrated baggage handling system, to the readiness of health services through special rooms and the support of Health Quarantine Center (BBKK) officers.

"We are ready to welcome the return of the pilgrims at Soekarno-Hatta Airport. As in the departure phase, we have prepared from the start to support the smooth phase of the congregation's return, starting from adjusting the service flow to the readiness of personnel and facilities," he said.

He hopes that during the welcoming process, the Hajj pilgrims can run smoothly and safely until they return to their respective homes.

"We hope that the entire return process will run smoothly until the end, and will be a good closing of the 2025 pilgrimage pilgrimage," he said.
