Jasa Marga Records 199,628 Vehicles Back To Jabotabek After The 2025 Eid Holiday

PT Jasa Marga (Persero) noted, as many as 199,628 vehicles returned to the Jabotabek area during the D+2 Eid al-Adha 1446 Hijri holiday or Sunday, June 8, 2025.

This number is the cumulative number of traffic flows (traffic) from the four Main Toll Gates (GT), namely Cikupa GT (from Merak), Ciawi GT (from Puncak), Cikampek Utama GT (from Trans Java) and Kalihurip Utama GT (from Bandung).

"The total volume of traffic returning to the Jabotabek area has increased by 34.99 percent compared to normal traffic," said Jasa Marga's Corporate Communication & Community Development Group Head Lisye Octaviana in a written statement, Monday, June 9.

Meanwhile, for the distribution of traffic back to Jabotabek from the three directions, namely the majority of 108,222 vehicles (54.2 percent) from the East (Trans Java and Bandung), 48,745 vehicles (24.4 percent) from the South (Puncak) and 42,661 vehicles (21.4 percent) from the West (Merak) direction.

As for the distribution details, namely traffic returning to Jabotabek from the direction of Trans Java via GT Cikampek Utama Jakarta Toll Road (Japek) as many as 53,409 vehicles or an increase of 77.8 percent from normal traffic.

Then, traffic returned to Jabotabek from the direction of Bandung via the Kalihurip Utama GT Cipularang Toll Road reached 54,813 vehicles. This figure increased by 54.8 percent from normal traffic.

"Total lalin kembali ke Jabotabek dari arah Trans Jawa dan Bandung melalui kedua GT tersebut sebanyak 108.222 kendaraan, naik sebesar 65,4 persen dari lalin normal," ucap Lisye.

Then, traffic returned to Jabotabek from Merak via the Cikupa GT Tangerang Toll Road Merak as many as 42,661 vehicles or an increase of 5.3 percent from normal traffic.

Meanwhile, the number of vehicles returning to Jabotabek from Puncak via GT Ciawi Jagorawi Toll Road was 48,745 vehicles, an increase of 16.3 percent from normal traffic.

"We inform the public to be able to take advantage of the toll tariff discount for the Eid al-Adha 1446 Hijri holiday period of 20 percent which will end on Monday, June 9, 2025, at 24.00 WIB," he concluded.
