Jakarta Vulnerable To Fires, Pramono Requires ASN DKI Provincial Government To Have Fire Extinguishing Equipment At Home
JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung requires all state civil servants (ASN) within the DKI Provincial Government to have a light fire extinguisher (APAR) in their respective homes.
This is stated in Governor's Instruction Number 5 of 2025 concerning the Community Movement having Light Fire Extinguishing Equipment in the Province of the Special Capital City of Jakarta which was signed since last April.
This instruction was made as an active role in preventing and overcoming early fires named the Community Movement program has a Light Fire Extinguishing Tool (Gempar). Considering, until now the number of fires in Jakarta is still high.
"The heads of regional apparatus ordered every ASN of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government in their regional apparatus to have fire extinguishers in their respective homes," Pramono said in Ingub Number 5 of 2025, quoted on Sunday, June 9.
Pramono asked the heads of regional apparatuses to record who the ASN in their regional apparatus already or who do not have an APAR in their respective homes.
In addition, the people of DKI Jakarta are also advised to have an APAR in their respective homes.
In this instruction, Pramono asked the mayor/regent to coordinate the socialization of APAR ownership through the sub-district head to the village head in his area.
This appeal also applies to employees of regional-owned enterprises (BUMD), community leaders, dasawisma cadres, jumantik cadres, posyandu cadres to youth youth organizations.
