The Ministry Of Finance Continues To Monitor Commitment To Education Development Through Priority Programs
Deputy Minister of Finance (Wamenkeu) Suahasil Nazara said the Government continues to monitor the realization of priority programs in the field of education such as the development of superior schools, public schools, and school revitalization.
Suahasil said that the construction of four excellent schools is being carried out and currently the construction of superior schools is entering the groundbreaking stage and the beginning of construction.

And now we will also develop the superior High School Endowment Fund and the stage that has occurred is the initial stage of the construction in the form of groundbreaking," he said in his statement, Monday, June 9.
In addition to superior schools, Suahasil said that the construction of public schools has also begun to be budgeted and in phase I it will be carried out through renovation of the Social Rehabilitation Center building, the Ministry of Social Education and Training Center, and local government buildings in 65 locations, while in phase II there will be 85 other locations.
"In phase I to carry out renovations at 65 locations, a budget of IDR 396 billion has started and with the hope that it will start accepting students in the new school year, more than 5000 students," he said.

Suahasil added that the school revitalization program was implemented by the Ministry of Elementary and Secondary Education at 10,440 public and private education units with a budget of Rp. 16.97 trillion.
In addition, he conveyed that the revitalization program was also carried out by the Ministry of Public Works for 2,120 madrasas under the Ministry of Religion with a budget of IDR 2.52 trillion.
Suahasil said the programs above are part of the government's commitment to equitable access to education and improve the quality of education for Indonesian children, this is the Government's determination to achieve better education for future generations.
