More Than 5,000 Health Volunteers Deployed To Support Hajj Medical Services 2025
JAKARTA - During the 2025 Hajj season, the Ministry of Health of Saudi Arabia ensures the readiness of the health service system by deploying more than 5,000 volunteers in various places of worship.
This step is part of a national strategy to ensure that pilgrims get medical services that are fast, safe, and of high quality.
The participation of thousands of volunteers is also part of the transformation of the Saudi health sector which is being promoted through the Health Transformation Program and the Congregation Experience Program, two important pillars of the Saudi Vision 2030.
This initiative aims to encourage active community involvement, including in Hajj services.

The ministry explained that health volunteers carry out strategic roles in the field, ranging from prevention services, medical treatment, to health logistics support.
Quoting ANTARA, June 8, health volunteers were deployed to various vital points such as the Grand Mosque in Mecca, Mina, Arafah, Muzdalifah, as well as health facilities such as hospitals and clinics.
With the support of trained volunteers, the health service system during Hajj is expected to be more resilient and adaptive in dealing with the needs of millions of worshipers from around the world. Their existence also strengthens humanitarian solidarity and adds spiritual value in serving God's guests.
