Eid Holiday, Ancol Invaded By More Than 84 Thousand Visitors
JAKARTA - The long holiday of Eid al-Adha 1446 Hijri is used by thousands of residents to travel to the northern coastal area of Jakarta. One of the favorite destinations, Ancol Taman Impian, recorded a total of 84,739 visits from Friday to Sunday, June 8.
PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk Corporate Communication, Daniel Windriatmoko, revealed that only on Sunday, June 8 until 16.00 WIB, the number of visitors entering the Ancol area had reached 25,734 people.
"On Saturday (7/6) there were 27,272 visitors, while right on Eid al-Adha, Friday, May 6, the number of visitors reached 31,733 people," he said in Jakarta, Sunday, as quoted by ANTARA.
Daniel explained that the coastal area is still the favorite location for tourists because it offers open space to relax and enjoy the panorama of nature with their families.
Various recreational units within Ancol complexes such as Dunia Fantasi (Dufan), Sea World, Ocean Dream Samudra, Atlantis Water Adventure, to Jakarta Bird Land are also the main attractions for travelers.

"We have prepared all recreational areas with a series of special events and entertainment, so that visitors can experience a pleasant holiday experience," he explained.
Ancol's management, he said, has prepared various operational needs to ensure the comfort and safety of tourists during the long holiday this weekend.
He also appealed to people who want to visit to buy tickets online through Ancol's official website before departure, as well as bring personal equipment such as hats, umbrellas, and other equipment that support outdoor activities.
"Those who come with their families, especially children, please always be under parental supervision. And don't forget to keep clean by throwing garbage in its place," he added.
Previously, the management targeted as many as 120 thousand visitors during the Eid holiday period which took place from 6 to 9 June 2025. This target includes national holidays, weekends, and collective leave which makes the holiday period longer than usual.
