Shabrina Leanor To Anjelia Dom Sings Yovie Widianto's Work In The Latest Project

JAKARTA - Ten of the best singers in the 2025 Indonesian Idol event started their career in the music industry with a special project. They sang the hits of the famous Indonesian maestro, Yovie Widianto with the uniqueness of their respective characters.

The talented soloists involved in this project are Shabrina Leanor, Fajar Noor, Mesa Hira, Vanessa Zee, Angie Carvalho, Piche Kota, Kenriz, Rara Sudirman, Shakirra Vier, and Anjelia Dom, who are part of the Universal Music Indonesia extended family.

"I was able to survive (in the music industry) until now because young musicians continue to give new colors to the songs I have composed," Yovie said on his collaboration debut on Wednesday, June 4, quoted from ANTARA.

The release of 10 songs from 10 newcomers is a celebration of the new generation of Indonesian music which is also an important momentum in the Indonesian music scene.

Each of Yovie Widianto's works, which was re-sung by ten musicians, was re-produced with a touch of modern arrangements from the S/EEEK producer team as well as vocal directions from Barsena Bestandhi, which was specifically adapted to reflect the vocal character and personality of each musician.

I am very happy to be able to give 10 songs for the 10 new generations of the Indonesian music industry. They all give special colors and touches in the songs they perform, so the workshop and recording process becomes a very memorable experience," said Yovie.

The work of these ten works was also carried out in a very short period of time, which was for approximately one week. However, thanks to the cooperation of all parties involved in this production, the short time did not become a barrier in presenting the best work.

These works are not only present in audio, but also through visuals as outlined in the ten lyric videos that will be broadcast simultaneously on Yovie's official channel. These ten videos bring a personal touch of musicians who build the atmosphere of the songs they sing.

"All (the S/EEK producer team) are my friends, I wasn't the one who chose them to run this project, but they were great people who chose to help me realize this dream," said Yovie Widianto.
