Bobotoh Persib Dies After 14 Days Of Comma Due To Falling From Flyover
JAKARTA - Tragedy colored the euphoria of Persib Bandung's victory after a young Bobotoh, Nugraha (20), fell into a coma for two weeks due to falling from the Pasupati flyover while following a convoy of winning celebrations.
The incident finally claimed the lives of residents of Cipari Village, Mukapayung Village, Cililin District, West Bandung Regency, on Friday night, June 6, 2025.
His wife, Intan Nuraeni (20), revealed that her husband suffered serious injuries in several parts of his body due to a hard impact when he fell from a height. Nugraha had undergone intensive care in the ICU and HCU at Hasan Sadikin Hospital in Bandung, but his condition continued to worsen until he finally breathed his last.
"The severity of the head is left, ribs, and kidneys. In fact, he had to undergo dialysis and breathing assistance through a tube in the throat," explained Intan when met at his residence, Sunday, June 8.

Nugraha's body was buried in the early hours of Saturday, June 7 at a public cemetery not far from the funeral home. Intan said that the family had let the deceased go, even though the feeling of loss was still deep.
"It was buried last night. The family tried to be sincere, but the loss of a loved one was still tough," he said in a stuck voice.
According to Intan, prior to the incident, Nugraha said goodbye to join the convoy to celebrate Persib's success in winning Liga 1 after winning over Persis Solo. Usually he only watches matches at home, but this time he chooses to go directly to the streets celebrating this historic moment.
At that time he said goodbye with enthusiasm. But in the morning around 5 o'clock, I was called by the RSHS security officer. They said my husband fell off the bridge, "he recalled.
Grief over the departure of Nugraha was also felt by the Regent of West Bandung, Jeje Total Ismail, who is familiarly called Jeje Govinda. He came directly to the funeral home to express his condolences and provide compensation to the families of the victims.
"I came takziyah to the house of the late Nugraha. We are sorry and convey a little help because we heard that the medical expenses were also quite large," said Jeje.
This tragedy serves as a reminder that celebration euphoria needs to be carried out in a safe and controlled manner, so as not to cause casualties in the midst of happiness.
