Nearly 1,000 Mazda MX-5 Units Affected By Recall In Australia
JAKARTA - Bad news came from Mazda. This automotive brand from Japan announced a recall involving the current generation MX-5 model in Australia.
Launching from CarExpert, Saturday, June 7, the recall order was carried out after the manufacturer found problems with the warning light that was not on.
According to the company, the problem is suspected to be due to the programming of the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) module which failed to turn on the warning lights.
"Due to software programming issues, the Dynamics Stability Control (DSC) module may fail to turn on the visual warning lights," the company said in a recall notice.
