Fajar/Fikri Paired In 3 Tournaments
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) has confirmed that Fajar Alfian will be paired with Muhammad Shohibul Fikri in three Asian tour tournaments next month.
This was confirmed directly by the men's doubles coach Antonius Budi Ariantho in an official statement received by the media on Saturday, June 7.
"Fajar will temporarily partner with Fikri in three Asian tournaments from July to August. Starting from the Japan Open, China Open and Macau Open," said Anton.
The reshuffle was carried out because Daniel Marthin as Fikri's partner still had to undergo recovery due to injury, while Rian took a break for family affairs.
"So I decided to pair Fajar and Fikri so that both of them will continue to feel the atmosphere of the match," said Anton.
Daniel Marthin suffered a left knee injury while playing at the Sudirman Cup 2025 yesterday. The results of the MRI examination showed an injury to the vulnerability.
