Menbud Fadli Zon Talks About Stairlift Borobudur: We're Too Late

JAKARTA - Until now, the installation of Aslilift in Borobudur Temple is still in the spotlight. The Minister of Culture (Menbud) Fadli Zon actually said the installation was too late. This was conveyed by Fadli Zon after carrying out the Eid prayer at the Istiqlal Mosque, Jakarta, Friday, June 6.

According to him, a number of world heritage sites have held collaterallifts to make it easier for visitors who need it. Fadli Zon also explained that the installation of Aslilifts is part of the cultural heritage inclusiveness and is not massive.

Previously, criticism arose regarding the installation of Asterightlift when President Prabowo Subianto and French President Emmanuel Macron visited Borobudur Temple. Criticism was sent because the installation of Ascalift would damage buildings in Borobudur Temple.
