The Suspect Of Obscenity Was Beaten To Death By A Prisoner At The Denpasar Police Detention Center

DENPASAR - A man with the initials AI suspected of molestation died inside the Denpasar Police Detention Center, Bali. Another AI victim was allegedly beaten by another prisoner.

Denpasar Police Public Relations Head AKP Ketut Sukadi confirmed the incident. The police are still investigating the case.

"We confirm the incident, the case is still being investigated," said AKP Sukadi when confirmed, Thursday, June 5.

However, his party has not explained the chronology of the incident, including the number of perpetrators suspected of molesting the victim.

"There is still an in-depth investigation (about it)," he added.

Meanwhile, it was confirmed separately, the Head of Public Relations of the Bali Police, Kombes Ariasandy, also confirmed the incident.

"Yes, it is true that someone died, but the cause is still being investigated by the Denpasar Police, for the data we are waiting for the release from the Denpasar Police," he said.

Regarding the alleged beating by other prisoners, Ariasandy is waiting for the results of the investigation.

"We are also waiting for the results of the investigation from the Denpasar Police," he said.
